FAQ

Why does pixel width matter?
Google truncates titles at ~600px and descriptions at ~920px. Pixel width is more accurate than character count because different characters have different widths.
What is the ideal title length?
Aim for 50–60 characters, which typically stays under 600px. Shorter titles may look sparse; longer ones get truncated with an ellipsis.
What is the ideal description length?
Target 120–155 characters. Longer descriptions are truncated; shorter ones may be replaced by Google with auto-generated snippets.

Enter your page title and meta description to see their character count, estimated pixel width (using average character widths), and a live Google SERP preview card. The tool flags entries that are too short, too long, or missing. Title limit is ~600px (~60 chars); description limit is ~920px (~155 chars).
