FAQ
- What metadata fields are shown?
- Title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, creation date, modification date, page count, file size, and PDF version.
- Why are some metadata fields empty?
- Not all PDFs include complete metadata. If a field such as "title" or "author" was never set when the PDF was created, it will show as empty.
- Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
- No. The file is read entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
PDF Metadata Viewer reads a PDF file and displays all embedded metadata: title, author, subject, keywords, creator application, PDF producer, creation date, modification date, page count, file size, and PDF version. No server upload required — everything is read directly in your browser.
