FAQ

How many images can I compress at once?
You can select as many images as your browser can handle in memory. For best performance, keep batches under 50 images or under 500 MB total.
What quality setting should I use?
A quality of 80 is a good starting point — it typically reduces file size by 50–70% with minimal visible quality loss. Lower values yield smaller files but may introduce visible artefacts.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. All compression is performed entirely in your browser using the HTML Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.

The Bulk Image Compressor lets you upload multiple images simultaneously and compress them all using a single JPEG quality setting. For each image you can see the original size, compressed size, and savings percentage. Download files individually or use the "Download All" button to get every compressed image. All processing happens locally in your browser — no files are sent to a server.
